Silence Between Us

Some stories are not told, they are carried. Quietly. Carefully.

Sometimes painfully. My fathers was one of them. What emerged from writing this book, was a portrait of a man shaped by war, survival, and resilience. A boy from a village in Epirus, Greece. A soldier on the front lines of the Italian invasion.  A survivor of a concentration camp. A witness to history, who chose silence over spectacle. I was stunned. Not just by what he had endured, but by how much he had chosen to keep within. I realized then that his silence was not emptiness, it was weight. And I chose to lift it.
